Frequently Asked Questions

How does Twiice work?

Twiice uses your iPhone's camera to record video and produces two separate video files at the same time: one in portrait (9:16) for TikTok / Reels / Shorts, and one in landscape (16:9) for YouTube / web. Both files are saved automatically to your Photos library when you stop recording.

Where are my videos saved?

All recordings are saved to your Photos app, in your main camera roll. Twiice does not store videos inside the app itself. If you delete a video from Photos, it's gone.

Why does Twiice need camera and microphone access?

Twiice never sends your video, audio, or photos anywhere. Everything stays on your device.

Why does Twiice need Photos access?

Twiice needs permission to add new videos to your Photos library after recording. It does not read or access your existing photos and videos.

Can I zoom while recording?
